I just took my LPN / LVN exam. It stopped at 86 question. I've read alot of articles that it was a good sign coz the more questions you get the more chance that you are below passing grade. On the other side I just did really bad that the CAT figured that I am really not doing well. I've read articles from the past years like 2013-2010. I wonder if this "notion" is still up to the present 2016? I just took mine this month March 2016 for the first time. I enjoyed taking the exam as if I am just answering a review practice test. But I only got like maybe 5 SATA and Delegation / Priority Questions. I can't figure if my question is getting harder which I heard is a good sign. I have some diet food questions that I think was easy but still not sure with my answers. I felt like I don't know nothing at that time and kept on guessing for like 50% of the exam. Does having only 5 SATA test a bad sign? I guess? I know a lot of test format changed for the past years. I heard that every year the passing % gets higher and higher. Also after 24hrs of my test I tried the PVT. Hoping that I can get a good pop up. Was I too early to do it? I've seen some videos and articles but it was years ago. Does anyone tried the PVT this year 2016? is it still accurate? I had a bad feeling that I failed. coz the payment has been received and on process and they emailed me the receipt that's $200 again!!! It's just so sad that California does not participate on Quick result. Need to wait from 4-6wks. Geeezz!! thats to long!!! Well I am starting to study again and hope for the best. Any comment on this is highly appreciated.
I've been calling them everyday as of today they were working on applications from August 5th..Inpaid August 8th..I've also been a waiting 7 weeks 3 days
I've been expecting my license this week since someone here paid on Aug 3rd and got his license number last week. I called them last monday and they told me they're still working on Aug 1st applications. Goodluck to us! Hope we'll get ours asap.
So, I took my test today here in CA, I am a repeat test taker, both times before I was hoovering the pass/fail line I believe due to the number of questions I got (134 & 168). Today I got 205 questions, I had a lot of lab values/teaching/prioritization/and a bout 30 SATA questions; multiple drag and drop & a few exhibit question. I feel like the questions were harder than I had before, however this test was of course different set of questions. I left feeling sick and feeling a 50/50 shot either way, the fact that I had a lot of SATA and 205 makes me feel hopeful, but not sure if it was enough... I studied Kaplan & Silvestri (Evolve) style questions, I read content I felt I was weak in and consistently scored between 50-60%. Let me just say I've been out of nursing school for over 4 years! The count down begins; anyone get 205 questions on here and have a similar senario like mine? Ughhh, I cant even fall asleep! I feel so torn! I'll be sure to keep everyone posted, I've been following on here for motivation and to see other pre-nurses experiences! Praying I passed!!! =0)
So, its now been 3 weeks and 2 days and I've not received any results! I'm not sure if this wait is a good thing or not? Also cant re-apply on the BreEZe as if I've failed, I get an error message saying I have an open application, I'm wondering if this is because they're still processing results? When I called last week to inquire on a ballpark time frame the lady stated I needed to try to be patient, they only had one person processing applications and generating results, she was very nice! She indicated to me in various ways I was "Good" Not sure if I should place hope in her slight indications of a pass, but I'm driving myself crazy with this kind of a wait... Still have some faith that I did well enough for a "PASS", but after answering 205 ?'s I'm torn, feeling a 50/50 shot is more realistic... Anyone else test around the end of Sept 2016 and get results yet?
Just an update: I called the BON yesterday, I was told they were working on processing results from 9-21-16, She also told me I would be getting results in maybe a week. When I told her I couldn't re-apply on the BreEZe, she said "well you'll just have to wait for your results and go from there". She also said, "once my results have been sent out the BreEZe system gets updated and I'll have more options available to me, not sure if this means I'll be able to pay for my license or pay to re-take the test... This Thurs will make 4 weeks, I've heard people say fail results are sent out pretty quick and passing results take longer; I've noticed some people have stated they got their pass results in a week. Ughhh... come on CA! Just wanna know already!!!

Anyone here who paid for their license online last August got their license number already? I'm just too worried since it's been 7 weeks waiting time for me.
