I just took the NCLEX-RN for the first time today. And even though it was a hard test I just wanted to let everyone know reading this that it's something that YOU can pass. I don't know for sure that I did but I tried the trick and I got the good pop-up. But It's not impossible to pass however, you have to believe. You have to believe that you got accepted into nursing school and made it to graduation for a reason. Take that and take the knowledge that you have gained while in school into the testing center with you. And use it while you take the test!
Another thing that I've found to be very helpful is this website. If you're stressed come here and read what other people have to say. In the few days leading up to the test this forum has helped me enormously. More so than people who aren't in our situation could ever understand. And it's one of the few things that have calmed me down. Goodluck to everyone who has the NCLEX in their future!
Did you go into the test thinking you would only get 76 questions or did you go in expecting to take all 265?
People say that if you go past 75 you are still passing, so i'm almost hoping I get like 120 or so questions.
thanks so much for being my heart to heart right now. I havent had a chance to talk to someone that took the NCLEX RN as opposed to the PN
I went into the test not really expecting to get all 265 questions. I was hoping that it would stop at 75 and then when I went to 76 my heart sank a little. But it stopped me right after 76 thank goodness.
Thanks everyone!!:)
Honestly as far as reviewing SATA questions I can't really recommend anything. I used Saunders 5th edition but the questions in there weren't anything like the NCLEX questions. But there are multiple SATA questions so maybe it would be helpful to you if you just practiced doing them. Goodluck!

I personally couldn't tell if the questions were getting harder or not. Whenever I thought I got a question right I would almost hope I got a SATA question next because then I thought for sure I got the previous question right since you would think SATA question would be judged as being harder.
