NCLEX July Test Takers

Nursing Students NCLEX

The thread for those testing in June has been very helpful, so I thought I would start one for July. I'm in Virginia and graduated May 15th; finally got my ATT yesterday. The testing centers here are booked well into July here so I'm not scheduled until July 9th

I'm using Kaplan, Saunders and the NCLEX Mastery app on my phone. I can't wait until this is over!

Hey guys,

Quick question. I took my test today at 8am. Finished in 75 questions at 9:50am. I got the following email from Pearson at 10:15am:

Now that you've completed the NCLEX Examination, we understand you may still have questions. For a list of answers to commonly asked questions and your next steps as a candidate, please visit:

Some candidates may access their "unofficial" results 48 business hours after taking their exam. For information about NCLEX - QUICK RESULTS, please visit: Quick Results | NCSBN

If you have a question not answered in the document, please call NCLEX Candidate Services at Customer Service :: NCLEX Examinations

So, I've tried several times now but I can't pay for quick results. Its valid in Washington state but when I log into my account it says your exam results are not available at this time. I did the PVT and got the good pop four hours out. For those that paid for quick results how soon did you pay the fee after taking you exam?

Good luck to everyone!

P.S I used Uworld - I found the rationales very helpful. I used Saunders to review content. FYI - if you register your Saunders book on the Elsevier Evolve website you get access to thousands of questions. According to some of my friends who used Kaplan the questions felt pretty similar.

Keep us posted!

I did take my exam today it stopped on 77th question. I don't know if I passed or failed. I had 11 SATA question 2 drag and drop, and 1 dosage cal.

You can't purchase quick results until 48 hours after your examination. Everyone gets that email around 2 hours after their exam :) And don't worry if you can't purchase exactly 48 hours later, mine didn't say I could purchase quick results until 9am so it was technically an hour late lol. While you're waiting you can keep checking your BON website to see if your license has been made active as sometimes that occurs faster than the quick results!

Oh, that makes sense. My brain is so fried after that test. Thanks for explaining. :p

Hey guys! Just wanted to let everyone know that I passed! Good luck to every one waiting for the results or taking the test soon. Be confident, the waiting is definitely the worst part.

Hey everyone! Tested on July 10, went to 133 questions!

Thought for SURE that I had failed, waited 4 hours and did the PVT trick and got the "good" pop up. Did it again at 24 hours. But still had to wait the 48 hours to pay for quick results which was agonizing.

Got my results today and passed! Used only Kaplan to study for 3 weeks before the exam.

Good luck everyone!

I just took my NCLEX today. Does everyone feel like they fail? Because, thats how I felt walking out of there.

I have enjoyed reading posts on this site since I first came across it while applying to nursing school, however this is my first time posting. So hear it goes took my test yesterday afternoon yes I took my test on Friday the 13th I know who does that well appartenly me lol. I had planned to take my first break at 75, when low and behold the test shuts off. I am amazed by those of you who remember the counts of the different types of questions you got. Normally after taking a test in school I would go to my car and look to see how many I got right, with this exam I honestly could not recall a single question to look up (weird). I believe most were priority, delegation, SATA guessing 15 or so a few drag and drop and another alternative type which I can't recall, but was not like anything I had ever seen. I got the survey at the end I half heartally did it, finished in about 1h30m. The testing center is about a 3h drive from my home I did the PVT trick when I got home, before learning that I should have waited 24h to check. Got the good pop nervous to check a 2nd time. Goodluck to those getting ready to test and congrats to all you new RN's I hope to be joinging the ranks soon.

This test is definatley not a confidence booster I didn't feel great either did you do the PVT trick?

I just found out I passed in 75. I didnt do the PVT, but the Board of nursing posted my license 12 hrs after I took the test.

Congratulations!! You must be so excited & not having to wait the 48h even better. Tomorrow can't come soon enough for me.
