Hello AN,
For those who have battled the NCLEX what did you think? I just got done testing and honestly have NO CLUE what to think. I had 75 questions, no hot spots, no ordered response, no EKGs, and more SATA than I could count. Nothing I studied was on the exam! I expected way more content.
Now I wait anxiously to find out if I passed! I don't feel good about it because I don't think I was getting those upper level thinking questions. Either I did so good that the test shut off or I did horrible and the test shut off!!
75 is just an emotional number

I don't think anyone ever feels like they rocked the NCLEX lol. I know I didn't. I also ended with 75 questions and sat there for a few seconds like what the heck was that!? I even sat in my car and cried! But 48 precious hours later I found out I had passed!

ALL numbers are emotional on NCLEX. People pass and fail at 75, at 265, and at any number in between. Go do something fun for two days and if your state offers quick results you will know in 48 hours.

I felt the same way after taking the NCLEX. I kind of felt confident but mostly I was convinced I failed. 90% of the test asked about things I have never heard of so basically I only had my critical thinking to rely on. I ended up passing (76 questions) and I did not have any hot spots, EKGs, etc. It didn't even seem like I had many SATA. I do think most people go out feeling like they did not do so well...I've actually heard that people that go out feeling like they did bad usually pass and those going out feeling really good about the test don't do so hot a lot of times. Have confidence in yourself - I'm sure you did better than you think!
Thanks everyone! I passed thank goodness!! The NCLEX was nothing like I thought it would be!! Lol
Congrats!!
