This was one of the most demanding test I fe had in my life when I thought I passed I failed and when I failed I thought I passed. I am an older student that graduate in 2013 and I was going through a custody fight and divorce the whole way through. All I kept saying to myself is that I can't let her win I gotta keep going. I lost my job had to move in with my mom and was financially ruined. And my ex was trying to eradicate me from my children s life and she was always jealous that I was in an RN program and she was a LPN. The first time I took the test I studied but not that hard and I also waited too long , please people take the test immediately it only gets worse.

I used these here forums as a way to get strength so that I could keep on going . I took the the 3 times and for the 3rd time I used Saunders, YouTube videos, Kaplan book, one week ATI COUSE WHEN I GRADUATED DIDNT HELP MUCH.but saunders was great and so was the questions on

ine that I used sooooo much, even when I did bad on a quiz I just kept on testing but I used the book to get more base knowledge so that I could answer the select all that apply better.

on my test I got soooooo many priority questions it was ridiculous and only about 15 selects and it stopped at about 125 for me the 3rd time but the first time it stopped at 83 and the 2nd time it was 225 but I ran out of time ( I took too many breaks ) I think I should've passed then.

People if if I can do it so can you devote 2 to 4 weeks of non stop studying and used everything over and over and make it part of you . This test can really fool you if your not on your game as you can see I am not the best test taker , I ve never been but I've always worked hard and that is something we all can do..

Geoffjrrn, what do u feel helped you the most out all of your study material?

To answer the first question .... The pearson vue trick only works if u put ur credit card through and if it then accepts it u failed supposedly as I found out on YouTube .. The old way was for it not to allow you to be able to get to the credit card screen but I guess they updated it. My advice would be just do the quick results .. took m

Hey love81

i think the best thing for me was to get my content back punt inspired and Saunders

To add on my comments Saunders and the 97 page did help a lot... I also loved the questions onsaunders that they give you online it has over 5000 questions and you can select any type including alternate format which I was doing over and over

How do you read Saunders? There are so many content, I just can't remember all ?

[COLOR=#003366]RNN7 I failed the board twice.. I am in same boat.. yesterday I completed Assessment 75 questions I scored 66% then it gave me calendar to follow it.. I am going to focus on my lowest scores.. then I will be doing Kaplan Content Review (2013 edition) oredered it for 10$ and at the end of everything I will go over 97 pages after and before my exam. Having good content knowledge will help us in SATA and Priority questions.. my plan to do those for one month then 2 weeks before my exam I will be doing only questions from Davis mobile app Priority, SATA and NCLEX Mastrey I may purchase NCBSN 3 weeks if I need too... good luck everyone :)

What I did was take sections at a time , each section really isn't too long.. Don't try to read like a book , just study the content u are having trouble with maybe don3 to 5 sections a day.. I took my time I am a slow reader it took me 3 weeks about and the quizzes are short

[COLOR=#003366]Geoffjrrn you covered 3 to 5 sections a day for 3 weeks sounds like great! Did you do the assessment 75 questions and follow the calendar plan? that's what I am doing my score was 66% after reading the Saunders I want do the assessment again to see the difference???

Hey Geoffrrjn i also graduated in Dec 2013, i have failed it twice, i took it Feb 2014 failed with 75 questions, took it again in Dec 11th failed with 187 , i want to know how long you waited before you retook it the third time and what resources did you use input is highly appreciated.

The first time I took too long about 6 months . 2nd time about 4 months but did a lot better but I ran out if time, I never thought that could happen...

To add to my message I would take too long because I think u can start to lose content . The third time I studied 7 to 9 hrs a day like a job... I study for an hour then break and so forth

I used The 97 page notes snd 35 page notes I like those because it condensed everything but I did Saunders first for my 3rd time , previously I did the Kaplan book and Ati but I needed more content
