Hi all,
I live in the state of Texas and I took my NCLEX exam yesterday. What a horrible experience. I know this is common, but still it sucks. I took the NCLEX LPN last year and I felt this bad, but I had the minimum amount of questions. This time around I took the RN exam and I had 172 questions. Most of my questions were priority and I think I missed a lot because I kept getting these questions throughout the exam, like everyone else when the computer didn't shut off I sighed heavily. I thought for sure at 85, 90, and 100 that it would stop. I took the mandatory break at the time, and once I got to 150 I was for sure that I was going to take the full amount. When the computer shut off at 172 my heart stopped. I am praying for the best and luckily Tx is a quick result state so tomorrow I will know my fate. Hopefully and God willing I will pass because there is no feeling like the one after you leave your exam. If you are reading this please say a prayer for me!
I took the test in CA yesterday, the 27th. How long does it take to find out? Have any of you CA takers found out yet? I am hoping for before the weekend.. maybe too much.. well, I too felt like the stuff I studied was not at all covered. For example, I spent so much time on ABGs and shock states.. I don't think I saw one question. And the developmental milestones (not one!!) and the stuff that was on the test was so out there.. I just don't know..
Anxiously waiting,
Carmen
Thanks for the info. I did check this AM. It was updated as of yesterday it said. Where are you? CA? I am not sure if you mentioned it along the way or not (I have been reading many different posts and posters :) ) Anyway, if you are in CA, have you found out your results and if so in what relation to your exam date?
