Taking NCLEXRN on July!

Hi guys!

I scheduled my NCLEXRN for July. I was using Uworld for almost 3 months. my overall average is 74% with 98th Percentile Rank.. however I only did one self assessment test and I scored 66% very-high chance of passing.... now I'm doing the PDA Lacharity (Prioritization, Delegation, Assignment) I only did 5 chapters.. currently I am scoring in the 70's. I just wanna do Part 2 (chapters, PDA) and escape the Part 3 ( case study, PDA). I'm tired of study and doing questions so I was thinking if I can reschedule it, I mean take it sooner like this month instead of July. but some how when I try to change my date Im starting to freak out and panic

took NCLEX yesterday, also scored in the 86th percentile 'very high chance of passing' and did it in 75 questions, and I did the PVT and got the good pop up, you'll be fine.

Don't wait too much longer, you'll start to feel like youre loosing it, move it up

That is what I was thinking.. I felt like if I wait too long I will forget all the contents hahahaha that is what makes me scared some times. for sure I will reschedule my test sooner. thank you.

I took it as soon as possible after getting my ATT (5 weeks post graduation). There is a point that you are ready as much as you are going to be. Delaying it an extra 2 months would be exhausting and counter-productive. Move the date up and get it over with and move on to your nursing career.

Nursing school instructors put the fear of NCLEX in you. All through school, graduation, and studying for the test you think about how difficult this test is going to be. I took it together with a classmate. I finished in an hour and she finished in 1 1/2 hrs, both stopped at 75 question. When I got done, my first thought was "This is what I was worried about for the past year?" Many people have a very difficult time passing NCLEX, but if you went to a school with a high NCLEX pass rate, you got As and Bs in school, and study hard for 5-8 weeks, it should not be too difficult.

yeah finally I took my NCLEXRN today, I had 75 questions. about 22 SATA questions, lots of Ob/pediatrics, psch, some meds may be about 6 and a lot of prioritization and therapeutic communication type questions and patient education/teaching, 3 math, 2 strips, 1 hot spot question. I felt like I got every thing ahhhh. but it wasn`t that bad, I was thinking it gonna be very hard and tough. I tried the PV trick and got the good pop up.. I have no idea if I passed or not.. I have to wait for 48 hrs, and to me it`s like 48 years ahhhhh.... I used UWORLD, and LaCharity book "Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment" believe me both are amazing.

Good luck to your exam .. just stay positive and do your best.. don`t rash take your time/breaks.. NCLEXRN is not that bad, it is safety test.. so if you know your content you will be fine. before your test, just try to do a lot of practice questions specially priority/delegation is very important. infection control.. pay attention to life-threating situations like airway problems/spinal cord injuries etc.. NOTE: don't wait too long! do you hear me?!! yes, I said: don't wait too long! you can do this, you have the knowledge you`re a nurse and this test is your staff nothing new to you.. your license is right there waiting for you, so go and get it, alright, and put these tow letters after your name, RN... Good luck guys.. You can do it!
