Questions about the license exam.

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I would like to know what are the subjects that you need to study for the license exam.

In my case, I will take my license exam at Belize, Central America. When I pass my license exam, what kind of license would I get?... I mean... is the license I get would only be valid at Belize? or the whole Caribbean? Can I use this license to work in US? or I need to do a transfer? or take another exam?

Anyone who can help is greatly appreciated! I'm so desperate to read your replies! Thank You!

All depends on where you intend to work. If you want to work as an RN in the US, the exam that you need to take is the NCLEX. If your nursing education was completed outside the US and you are seeking to get a permanent resident visa to work as an RN in the US there are additional requirements and you will need a sponsor. If you plan to work as an RN in another country you need to find out from the local licensing authorities in that country what the requirements are. Suzanne is the expert in this area so post your question in the international forum.

Thanks alot for ur reply! I will definately look for further help! ^^ Thank u~~~

WindCloudG. . .I think that the person who has those answers for you are Suzanne4, one of the Allnurses members. She's also one of the moderators. She hangs out on the International Nursing Forum, I believe. Or, you can find her through searching the list Forum Members List (there's a link on the menu bar just above this).
