Hi everyone,
I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN on Tuesday, but I'm afraid and thinking about rescheduling the test. During the past week I've used Mosby CAT to gauge my progress and here are my scores w/probability of passing & difficulty level:
94% 0.228
94% 0.453
94% 0.271
94% 0.362
94% 0.131
94% 0.251
I haven't scored over 94% and difficulty level isn't really improving. Please give me your honest opinion. All replies are appreciated. Thanks:uhoh3:
Hi everyone,
I took the NCLEX-RN this morning and the computer shut off at 75 questions. I had a lot of priority, a few delegation, a couple of OB/Peds, several Psych, two dosage calculations, and the rest med surg. WHEW!!!!!!! I felt numb after taking the test.....you just never know how to feel until you get your results. I pray that I passed, b/c I'm ready to move on....... thanks for all of the support.
I agree, if you comp tests are showing 93-94% pass chances, I'd take those odds. Coupled with the 75 questions, I'd say no doubt. I know people say it doesn't matter if you get 75 or 85 (LPN) questions, I disagree. Previous track record, in your case the high comprehensive predictor, weights the scale heavily in your favor. I don't know how to prove this mathematically, but I'm fairly confident of it. For instance, if you were getting 60-70% comprehensive scores, and got 75 on the RN nclex, that's another story. I was getting 95% pass on my comps, got a 85 question PN test, and passed. I guess they're pretty accurate, even though the NCLEX is "weird"
Well I took my test today and had 90 questions..... how do ya'll feel about the last question being awnsered right.... surely if it were wrong it wouldn't have shut off it would have continued giving me questions. I'm sure it was right.... it was a math question and I had a friend work it out also. Just kinda put out that I didnt end at 75. Had I of ended at 75 I would have the confidence of passing.... Never known anyone to fail at 75.
