Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I took my exam this morning at 8am, finished at 10:15am, and finally had the nerve to LOOK:heartbeat:uhoh3: at 2:30pm, and I DID get the GOOD pop-up. Just to be certain, I repeated all the steps again, after logging off and re-logging on, and I got the good pop up a half-hour later. Keepin' my fingers crossed that I answered with at least the minimum level needed to add those 2 lovely consonants at the end of my name
Just an update: I passed the exam and found out about 24 hours ago!!! YAY!! Such a relief!
This works!!!!I took my test on Jun 15 and I had about 127 questions. It was horrible. I was pretty sure I bombed the test.
I tried this "trick" when I got home 30 minutes later. The status said "Delivery Successful". When I tried to advance to the credit card section, the good pop-up message would come up. I kept checking everyday (like a crazy OCD woman) and I'm from TX so I also kept checking to see if my GVN/GN permit was still active. I kept getting the good pop-up and my GVN/GN permit was still active.
I checked my quick results today and I passed!
To God be the glory!
To God be the glory indeed! Congratulations!!
The Pearson Vue trick is accurate. Also, don't pay to have your results in 48 hours. Use Nursys.com Licensure Quick Confirm. My license number was posted here within 24 hours of taking the exam. It is not posted on my State Board website and my report is not available on Pearson Vue yet.The link: https://www.nursys.com/LQC/TermsConditionsLQC.aspx
Took NCLEX yesterday. Did the trick and got a good popup. Just waiting on my results tomorrow. As far as I know Illinois doesn't post new licenses online or anyway for me to find out. If anyone has any info that they do, let me know!
Does it take exactly 48 hours or like midnight of the 2nd business day? When should I expect that I can check for my results? When in doubt ill check when I wake up!
Hoping that tomorrow i'm an RN!
