Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Congratulations to everyone that has passed thus far!!! I took my NCLEX-RN yesterday at 8 a.m. and I had the maximum questions 265. When I passed 75 I thought "Shoot I didn't pass" but I reminded myself that yes, this is OK because NCLEX was probably just trying to see how far they could test me" It seemed to me that the questions were incredibly hard. I called my friend after the test and she told me about this "trick"....so I went home and had my heart pound practically out of my chest and got the "good" pop-up..checked again this morning and again "good" pop-up...I will be finding out my fate tomorrow morning and will update. :sofahider
Hey I'm hoping to find out tomorrow too! I was wondering the same thing....is it 48 hours from the scheduled time your test started? I arrived an hour and 15 min early for my exam, and started at 11 am instead of 12:15. So not sure if my results will be ready at 11 or 12:15!!! I know I sound like a neuroticWe will find out tomorrow....good luck to you!
I am wondering the same thing...Went on NURSYS.com this morning and I didn't have me in there yet. Finished 3 hours after my start time so I will look back then..Good Luck!! Let us know how you do!! Did you get the "good" pop up??
OMG...just finished NCLEX-RN an hour ago and my status still says "ready for delivery" :-(
Update: As soon as I posted this, I logged back in and delivery was successful. I got the good pop up, so I'm not gonna party yet, but I'm going to sleep tonight at least. So I glad I checked this forum before taking the test!!!

I took my test on Tuesday, got home and tried the trick right away (so less than an hour after my test ended) and got the good pop up! I had 75 questions and took it in an hour and 20 minutes. I just got my quick results today and I passed!!!!!!! I am so excited to sign BSN, RN after my name
