I am also trying to stay positive. I have been told the same. I got 5 check all that apply and one fill in the blank med calc. I was a bit surprised about having 5 check all that apply out of 75. It seemed like a lot, and I too do not do real well with these, but I kept thinking to myself some of them have to be those questions that don't count (test questions). I had some med questions that I had not even heard of, but after reading some of the other posts, this seems to be common. I just hope for the best, I never want to do that again. I do find that as the hours go on, I feel less and less confident that I passed, well if I really ever felt that way at all. This test really takes a toll on you.
Lets hang in there!
we share the sme sentiments...i took the exam last january 24 and up to now i still don't know if i passed or failed...my computer shut off at 75 questions just as you are and i was given tons and tons of prioritization/delegation questions which i am not good at...too bad for me...i was also given a lot of meds that i am so clueless on what they are...and one fill in the blanks med calculation...whew and i think 75 questions is not enough for me..i feel that i was not able to do good so i was hoping to advance more further to redeem myself but it stoped at 75...*sigh* and waiting for the results is making me nuts since california does not paticipate in quick results it means i have to be more patient...let's just hope for the best...you'll be in my prayers!! Good luck to us!!
I am from Ca too and took my test on 2/1. No results yet:scrying: I took it all the way to 265 with 6 "check all that apply". I think just for having done ALL the questions, I should get to pass! In my dreams..... Those of you who got 75 questions, I too think that is a very positive sign. The waiting is the worst. I try to keep myself busy but, I swear everytime I walk near the computer, some evil power makes me go to the BON and type my name in! :roll
Hey, I took the test for CA, in Nevada, because I wanted the earliest possible test date! Anyway, took the test on the 19th of Jan, license posted exactly two weeks later. 75 questions, walked out feeling like SH--, but I passed. REsults would have been sooner, but my transcripts were delayed. Good Luck, everyone I know passed with 75.

Hi Everyone,
I took the NCLEX this morning. 75 questions and one and a half hours later I was done. Let me say that it is definitely true what they say about having no idea if you passed. I graduated in Dec and got really good grades, but I still have no idea how I did. Really no idea. I got questions about things I had truly never heard of before. I live in CA so no idea how long it will take to get the results. I really could use some kind and encouraging words to keep my spirits up. Anyone recently take the boards in CA and get results fast?
Thanks! :roll
