I took the NCLEX this morning. 75 questions and one and a half hours later I was done. Let me say that it is definitely true what they say about having no idea if you passed. I graduated in Dec and got really good grades, but I still have no idea how I did. Really no idea. I got questions about things I had truly never heard of before. I live in CA so no idea how long it will take to get the results. I really could use some kind and encouraging words to keep my spirits up. Anyone recently take the boards in CA and get results fast?
I"m with ya.....it seemed mine were all check all that apply!! I'm so stressed. Mine shut off at 75, and I'm positive I got the 75th one wrong, so I feel like I blew it.
I took the PN in March of 06, and felt pretty much the same, shut off at 85, and I wanted to throw up. Somehow the nursing gods were smiling on me and I passed....now I get the fun of going through it all over again.
I should find out tomorrow AM...will let you know.
I cleaned my house, and layed around when I wasn't cleaning...I felt like I wanted to die.....Mine shut off at 75, and I was absolutely certain I had failed....have faith.
From what I understand, shutting of at 75 seems to be a good thing.
I feel good for you, after feeling so bad for me, and I passed, so keep busy, and try not to stress (I know, I know, it sucks!), but I'd be surprised if you didn't pass at 75 questions.
It is probably the worst you'll feel in your life, so take heart that it will only get better from here!! Remain optimistic, and keep me posted!
Good luck to all of us!! My NCLEX was yesterday, and I agree-- a lot of prioritization, 5+ check all that apply, and meds I had never seen before.
I don't now how you all in California handle the wait. Jersey does the "unofficial" quick response, and just the 48 hours is killing me.....(I have about 22 hours till I have a chance at finding out).
hey all, just wanted to let you know that i passed!!!!!!!!! took nclex in california on monday at 8am and found out i passed this morning at 6:30am on the website verification (thanks to an early phone call from a wonderful friend who has been eagerly awaiting my results). i had 75 questions and i passed. i can't believe it, it sure didn't feel that way when i left the test center. thanks to all of you for your support in my time of need.
