Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Welcome, I enjoyed viewing the January 2017 Topic. This post is for all those who are taking their NCLEX RN in February. Please share how you guys are doing with your review? What materials are you using? Lets do the same and encourage each other. Thanks

Congrats

Congratulations!! Thats the good pop up!

What advice would you give regarding the test? Was it comparable to Uworld? In the sense of SATA, prioritization and content?!

I am taking mine on Monday and really anxious

Got my att today!!

I took my test at 2pm today. It just off at 75. I had a bunch of sata and was not 100% sure on any of them. I had one math, and EKG and a one exhibit. I did the PVT like 15 times already and I still got the good pop up. So hopefully its accurate. I haven't heard of anyone getting a good pop up and still failed.

There's not a specific advice that I can give you because the possibilities are endless in terms of the content on the test. To be honest, when my test shut off at 75, I really wasn't sure if I failed or passed.. More likely failed but PVT trick says otherwise. I didn't have that many SATA but I knew I had at least 7. With those SATA, you just need to make sure you know content and not to fear them initially when you see them. I got a couple priority questions (who would you assess first) as well as several psych questions (maybe I wasn't doing too hot on them). I didn't get any crazy med questions but got a certain amount of OB/PEDs. Either way, I just advise you to just keep going strong on UWorld. I find out tonight if I pass or not and hopefully my name pops up on the board's site!

Good luck! Sending you positive vibes!

I passed!! Just saw my name on the board of nursing website! It's official PVT is alive and well!!

Well I'm from CA so I went on the Breeze website to search my name under "Look up License" and also verified by logging into my own Breeze account as well and it was labeled "Registered Nurse" with my application no longer being at pending.

Just back from mine - shut off at 75, PVT = good pop up!

I have been studying since the end of Dec/start of Jan, taken Hurst in class.

Been doing U World for a few weeks now, I have about 200 questions left with a average in the 92nd percentile overall will be taking my SIM next week. I am worried with my average only being at 67% overall but in the 92nd percentile, it seems low to me.

I have been making q cards off of each question I got wrong to try and understand the material better.

How is the 92nd percentile average overall?

I am writing on the 14th of this month.
