Kaplan Scores: Am I ready?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey there,

So I'm looking for feedback in regards to my readiness to pass the NCLEX by providing you with my current Kaplan scores. Currently my scores are in the same range, if not better than my classmates who have taken and passed the NCLEX last week. I am scheduled for October 3rd at 1:30 PM.

Diagnostic: 59%

QT 1: 55%

QT 2: 63%

QT 3: 56%

QT 4: 54%

QT 5: 53%

QT 6: 54%

I still have to do QT 7 and will likely take it tomorrow since I am still currently reviewing QT 6 rationales.

QT 7: 51%

I'm feeling more anxious / nervous about this now.

Is Kaplan the only resource you used? Kaplan came with my tuition for the school I attended, but all I've been using is uworld and it has been very helpful! I did take the Kaplan readiness exam and received a 64%. I haven't really touched much question trainers on Kaplan. I take my exam on Saturday. I'm pretty sure you will be okay. I too am trying to figure out what qualifies as "good" scores walking into the NCLEX, but I feel like majority of it is how you're feeling going into it. Know that you're not alone! Try to remain positive and confident! We will be okay!

You will do great!!!! praying for you

Hey Capriinverno,

I've used a lot of different resources to supplement on topics I'm fuzzy on or have absolutely no recollection of learning about in school, haha. And you're right, trying to figure out what qualifies as being in a good condition to take the NCLEX is what is on my mind. Will you update me with how your test goes this Saturday? I take it on Monday.

Gizahon, thank you! Once I start getting nervous about the test I wonder how an accelerated program even readied me and if I'm even capable of doing this. I will pass, the NLCEX can be fun and is a step in my career.

We won't know everything. I will let you know how it goes. I am testing in the afternoon. I figure that would be better so I can go have a nice lunch before. I too went through an accelerated program. I am hoping I don't have too much SATA questions. I'm always one too short or one too much on those questions.

Hi suburbiafeelsu,

You're welcome, we won't know everything, but if you study and focus, you will do just fine. I will be praying for you my friend, plz let me know after you pass the test.

God has a plan for all of us, believe in yourself and read questions twice and don't overthink

by the way, your kaplan scores are way better than mine, my lowest was 22%, highest 59%

I took the NCLEX this afternoon. Completed it in 2 hours with 80 questions... the last few seemed like lower level questions, not analysis and application... I'm not going to do the PVT, just keep checking the the DOH site in my state for credential activity.

Really anxious. Feeling like a failure.

Im sure you did great! I did the PVT trick a few hours after and 24 hours later and got the good pop up. Checked my states BON this morning and my license is up! I'm officially a nurse! Sending you good vibes!!

Woo! Congratulations Capriinverno.

I'm not going to do the PVT, but am updating the provider credential search often. Will update when I find out, which is hopefully tomorrow.

Again, congratulations! You're a nurse!
