I heard that that there is a partial credit for SATA. is this true?

I've never heard of that. I also thought it was all or nothing.

It's all or nothing. The computer is spitting the test out at you one question at a time. Each new question is dependent on the last one you answered. Gear up, I had 29 of those bad boys but I passed with 75Q. You can do it...NCLEX is a...strange...test, but in my opinion wasn't intentionally trying to trick me. Prepare accordingly and you'll do great!! :)

Nope, no partial credit. The NCLEX isn't scored like a regular test. Here is how it works:

Whether you pass or fail has nothing to do with how many questions you answer correctly or your "score". There is no minimum- you must get 60% right- etc. Instead, each question is assigned a difficulty level based on the content. You need to show the computer that you can correctly answer questions that meet the minimum difficulty level. When you get an answer right, your next question is more difficult. When you get an answer wrong, the next one is less difficult. This continues until the computer can determine that you either meet or do not meet the minimum difficulty level.

So, you see, since your test isn't actually scored, there is no way to give partial credit.
