I am a new grad RN who wad offeted a charge nurse position and only getting 3weeks... not sure about taking it...

I purchased a pair of timerland nursing shoes...they are by far the most comfortables pair I have personally owned... I have purchased nurse mates and by the end of clinicals my feet felt like bricks... Best advice try on several pair.

@all517.. congrats on you on your upcoming graduation.. ltc is truely were I one day want to be, but its seems overwhelming...

LTC is truely were my heart is but I feel that acute care will help me gain the experience needed...

I am a new grad RN and was offered a charge nurse position in LTC...I would receive three weeks of orientation and then be the nurse on 3-11 shift...60 residents, 6 CNA's, and 2LPN's.. I was an LPN and have previous experience as far as working in LTC. I have also received a job offer at local hospital. Which job offer should I accept?

Kaplan, lacharity, and lippincotts alter. format, saunders are the books that I used.. since your test in Saturday continue to do about 100 ?? per day and review all the rationales even if you got the answer correct. the day before the test and hard as it sounds RELAX.. Good luck and you will be fine... also prayer...

You may want to contact the board directly and personally go in and speak to someone before moving. I wish you luck and I glad that you were able to get out of that abusive relationship. God Bless you and much success in your future

Congradulations I took my test on July the 2nd, I felt okay after taking the exam I had 75 ??s and it was over in 44 minutes. I remember calling my husband to pick me up and he said there is no way you are finished. Well I had spent over a month everyday preparing for this test. God is good ...

Goodluck on your upcomig exam.. Kaplan was very helpful in helping me to prepare for the exam and once I began my exam I made sure to use the decision tree..

I wish each of you Luck on your upcoming NCLEX exam. I took my exam on 7/2/2012 after not having power for 3 days due to the storms. I used Kaplan, Lacharity, Saunders and the study guide on allnurses.com...going into the exam I felt as though I was not ready, but please remember you have all made it through nursing school and this to shall past. I completed my test in 44 minutes with only 75 ??'s .. I am truely blessed and you to will pass this test. God Bless my future professionals.
