AHHH I just took the RN exam!

  1. I just took the RN exam a few hours ago and i feel very nervous!
The computer shut off at 75 questions! :-) was happy about that.

I studied using the online kaplan question trainer and the question bank, but i feel sorta like kaplans questions were a little more complex and the questions on the NCLEX were more straight forward and a bit easier!!! Or maybe i am crazy?.....Did anyone have similar expereince???

Anyway, i'm jus glad it's OVER with either way!

When I took it the second time it shut off at 75 and I find that the questions on the nclex was harder than kaplan, but kaplan was a goood study guide, toes and fingers cross for you

I actually felt just like you when I took it! I felt the NCLEX was more straightforward and Kaplan was just too hard! Wishing you lots of luck on your results!

student240 I have my fingers crossed for you as well. How quick can you find out? I thought the questions on the NCLEX we insanely crazy. I used the Kaplan book and found their questions were pretty easy. Good luck to you and please keep us posted.

Good Luck to you. I used the Kaplan study course also, and found that the NCLEX was harder than the Kaplan questions. I passed on the first try, so it obviously helped me.

I just took the NCLEX-RN last week. I had 265 questions and also used the Kaplan QBank (only). I used Mosby book & "Rediculously Simple NCLEX-RN". I just found out I passed. From what I know, the number of questions is no indication of whether or not you passed. I walked out and felt like I had been hit by a bus! I looked like it too! My initial assessment was, there were questions I definitely knew I got right, some I was very uncertain of and a good number that I took educated guesses on (eliminated two answers and was stuck with two that were VERY close in definition). I found the Q-Bank to be very helpful. The style and content were close to NCLEX questions. I had some really of the chart questions that I had never reviewed in the books or seen on the Q-Bank. But, if your basic knowledge is strong, you can analyze the question and eliminate the wrong choices.

Best of luck to you with all my heart. I know EXactly how you feel.
