Practice, practice, practice.

UWorld was the best study source (I also used Saunders + RN Mastery for core review) and UWorld for both content and NCLEX styled question practice. While Saunders + RN Mastery are very good at what they offer; don't use their questions as a true source of studying for "NCLEX" style questions because they don't really mimic the NCLEX questions. That's why UWorld was the best!

You are also using Hurst which is good for content review so I would recommend you keep to a FEW sources only because you'll just overwhelm yourself with information from multiple sources.

- So stick with Hurst to review content.

- Use UWORLD for practice.

- But I recommend you also get Prioritization and Delegation by LaCharity and practice the MC's on it prior to starting UWorld. I had quite a few prioritization and delegation questions on the NCLEX; and they are pretty difficult. You just need to be exposed to many of these types of questions to get comfortable with it. Trust me, this source is a MUST IMO.

My study plan involved:

  • 1 month for core review (Saunders + RN Mastery - for your case, stick with HURST.
  • 1 week on Prioritization and Delegation doing only the multiple choice Q's, I didn't touch the case studies.
  • 1 month (30 day subscription) with UWorld. UWorld has roughly 1900 questions + 2 assessment exams. I did ~110 question accumulative/day [minimum] for 6 days a week. Finished 19000 questions, did Assessment Exam #1. Practiced all incorrect questions. Finished Assessment Exam #2.

Then I didn't study the day prior to my NCLEX

Otherwise, don't overdo studying. Pace yourself. Give yourself breaks. Do not study for 8 hours straight!

You got this! Good luck :D

Omg thankyou for this. I am really positive that I will pass the NCLEX! Again please pray for me. ☺️ Thank you so much

we're on the same boat, 42 days before my NCLEX-RN.. and for the first time i took NCLEX-PN yesterday so im really going crazy now waiting for the official results. i got the good pop up when i tried PVT so im really hoping and praying that i passed my LPN exam... goodluck to all of us!

Gudluck to all of us! Just keep on praying i know God is up there looking and guiding us :)

Thanks! I'm trying to focus on Uworld and Saunders as my reviewer for the NCLEX-RN. have u tried UWORLD?

Im planning to start uworld tomorrow i just finished hurts

UWORLD is the best, you are doing the right thing! it's a little bit pricey though for a QBANK but it worked out for me. I like the way they explain the rationales! very easy to understand but the QBANK questions itself is so HARD!

PAX is a pre-admission exam? It's best to ask over the Pre-Nursing student section since this area is specifically for the NCLEX exam.

I'm not familiar with the PAX so I can't offer any advice unfortunately. Good luck!

Hi I'm 4weeks til my exam, and to be honest I'm cramming already. Bought all the books but could solely study and focus on them:( huhuhu o don't know what's wrong. And this will be the third time
