I am sooo nervous!... I have done HURST Review and am now doing Kaplan review: so far my diagnostic score was a 61.11% QT1: 60% and QT2: 64% I am still working through reading the Course Book and reviewing the content lesson...
I have been doing 100-150 questions a day whether its on Kaplan or flash card questions. I am afraid that a lot the questions I am doing are too easy and will be easier than what will be on the actually NCLEX...
I feel so discouraged at times because I have a lot depending on me passing the NCLEX, a new job lined up, my parents, boyfriend, etc.
Is there anything else I can do different? Are my scores okay? Any advice will help!!
Thanks
Good luck! I take my NCLEX-RN January 3rd and I'm not really studying hard for it. I did the Hurst live review, and I'm doing the Qreview but that's about it. I graduated December 7th so I haven't been out long and I think some people study TOO much and jinx themselves. My close friend did Hurst review with me, didn't really study, and passed with 75 questions last week, so I feel like I have a good shot at passing. Although a girl we know just took it Friday, 130 questions, ALL but three were SATA...if mine is like that, no amount of studying will help me pass, lol.

How did your Exam go???....are you now Racer15, RN?? I have HURST and Kaplan and I believe that HURST is great for content and Kaplan is good for strategy! 11 days and counting left for me AHHHHHH!!!!!!
Thank you so much I really appreciate that!! Ill definitely keep you updated on how it goes, I have a job lined up as well so I must dominate my NCLEX! So sick of studying and doing questions but it will pay off!
Yes I study all everyday just to make sure I am keeping my brain working...but at times it gets very overwhelming!!! I am ready to just sit around the house watch tv all day or go shopping with the money I'll be making as a RN lol lol
I feel I do better by studying - for example I got 77% (without looking anything up) on QT 4 after studying for two days straight, yet most people say the trick is to just do millions of questions. What do you guys think? Right now I am trying to get through review all of the Yellow Saunders Book and finish the Question Trainers by the end of this week. The stress and frustration with studying is really getting to me though. I was supposed to do QT 5 yesterday but got so burned out I didn't.
We have the same mindset!! I have never wanted to pass a test this badly before! Have you dont Qtrainers 6 or 7 yet? Im doing 6 today.
Not yet...Im sitting in the classroom still Im going to do some qbank questions tonight then the readiness test tomorrow....and then do the Q trainers 4-7 starting on sunday 1 a day
so far I've done 550 questions with an average of 59% =\
Let me know how that goes...

You have wonderful percentages on Kaplan.... Keep doing what works for you and seeing that studying content is working best for you!
