NCLEX in 20 days!!! (January 15, 2013)

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I am sooo nervous!... I have done HURST Review and am now doing Kaplan review: so far my diagnostic score was a 61.11% QT1: 60% and QT2: 64% I am still working through reading the Course Book and reviewing the content lesson...

I have been doing 100-150 questions a day whether its on Kaplan or flash card questions. I am afraid that a lot the questions I am doing are too easy and will be easier than what will be on the actually NCLEX...

I feel so discouraged at times because I have a lot depending on me passing the NCLEX, a new job lined up, my parents, boyfriend, etc. :nailbiting:

Is there anything else I can do different? Are my scores okay? Any advice will help!!

Thanks :shy:

Dubs, I called the state BON to see when my license will show up. They told me that while they can't confirm I passed technically, they did say my license will be up by the end of the week, so I take that as a good thing! :)

I just looked mine up on DOH in fl and the exam results are up and it says pass!!!!! Yaaayyyy!!!! It's official I passed!!! =)

Congratulations Dubs

Maria, I figured out we are from the same area. I took the exam the same day with you. 75 Q, good pop up, but am still waiting for the state DOH to update the status to check if I passed or not. Most of my fellow classmates got their updated status from DOH page within 30 min or one day. For my case, more than 30 hrs have gone, nothing changed. Did you use the phone # listed on the DOH page to call? Since you have been told you would get your license soon, did you see your status being "active" on DOH page? Thanks. So nervous!

Hi everyone, I just got my license today and I would like to share this prayer I found somewhere here in allnurses.com. I believe that this prayer is really powerful.

This powerful prayer is very effective in examinations. It has to be said before appearing in the examination. There are two variants to this prayer. Both the prayers are equally effective. You can choose any one of these:

First Prayer

O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which I am now preparing. In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

Through Christ our Lord.

St. Joseph of Cupertino, Pray for us.

Amen.

Second Prayer

O St. Joseph of Cupertino who by your prayer obtained from God to be asked at your examination, the only preposition you knew. Grant that I may like you succeed in the (here mention the name of Examination eg. History paper I ) examination. In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

O St. Joseph of Cupertino pray for me

O Holy Ghost enlighten me

Our Lady of Good Studies pray for me

Sacred Head of Jesus, Seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me.

Good luck and God bless to everyone taking NCLEX PN or RN soon!

I just would like to 2nd your post and say that I used this prayer too (the second version) and gave it to my friend and we both passed (I with 75 Qs, taking me 3 hrs! and her with all 265 Qs). I firmly believe its a powerful prayer and I'd recommend to anyone who would like a pre-NCLEX prayer :)
