NCLEX advice for a foreign-trained nurse

I am elligible for NCLEX exam already, my English is very good and the only challange I face is what materials to choose to study. I have Saunders comprehensive review 4th edition and Feuer CDs but I have hard time being organaized. It is hard to study when I do not have to report to anyone. I wish I can find some online NCLEX review program that could force me to follow their schedule. Since I live far away from any big town the only instructed review I could get would be an online one.

hi! I just graduated last May and a foreign-graduate too. I took the exam last friday and just waiting for the result. The exam was not so bad but a little harder from the saunders books. I used various materials and cds while studying and I think It helps me a lot understanding the questions. I will let you know when I passed. Just keep on reviewing everyday.Goodluck!

I am a foreign nurse as well. I am starting to study again and preparing for my exam. I found a great website which is helping me a lot. They are also not very expensive. I am improving my practice test grades more and more. Good luck and God bless you. One day we will all become RN nurses.

im a foreign grad too. i just came from taking my test a few days ago and found out that i passed! i used kaplan and hesi since kaplan has some really hard questions and hesi has a summarized points to remember throughout the book. both were really helpful! good luck!

Thanks for the advice. what HESI product did you use? was is a book, live course or online review? I just signed up for Kaplan Complete Comprehensive online review. And, about Kaplan, did you use a Kaplan Stertegies? Congratulations on passing it.

Just the book. Great idea in signing up for kaplan. if you have problems in reading the test questions, then the strategies will definitely help you. in my case, i just read the rationales for each answer and that helped me a lot! and by the way, it was way more difficult than saunders. thank you!
