also if there is anyone out there from the UK, are there are nice hotels nearby in London that you can recommend to stay the night before please

thanks

Hi. I'm a London trained nurse living in Ohio (unfortunately!), & took & passed the NCLEX in March last year. I'd strongly recommend the Kaplan live online classroom course, which you can do from anywhere. Incidentally, why do you want to work in the US & where are you planning on going?

I am uk trained nurse currently living in London.I am looking in to taking the nclex, I am left a little baffles by the process. Do I need a social security number to even register to sit the exam?

Hey for your dosage... I highly recommend you learn dimensional anaylsis. Its a method I learned in physics/engineering courses at the start of my college career, though many nursing instructors teach it now as well. I have yet to encounter any dosage math that you are required to do for your NCLEX/HESI that cannot be solved with dimensional anaylsis, great method can be hard to explain via internet though

You are looking at registering to be a RN in the US, NCLEX is just a part of the process. Suggest you read the International forum. Some states are now saying they wil not accept application without a US SSN and that you can not get until in the US working with a valid immigrant/work visa
