NCELZ study tips

Nursing Students NCLEX

I took a Kaplan review class and took my NCLEX. Does anyone have any recommendations for studying for the second time. I am undecided if I should retake the Kaplan class or just study on my own.

NCSBN is an OK review for the price it is written by the NCLEX people.

I took Kaplan also 2x and failed 2x.

I also did ATI, Saunders, NCSBN, and Mosby. I'm thinking of investing 300.00 for the Hurst DVD review cause I don't know what else to do to pass.

I took Hurst Review in January live class, but the online is okay as well. It the same. Hurst Review goes over the content for the exam and that's what needs to be understood to take the exam. I also took Kaplan and did not pass, so this time I think that I will using Hurst. My instructor from Kaplan said that we need to know the content in order to pass the exam and if you are weak in just one area you will fail the exam.

Good luck taking the exam next time.

I too have done Kaplan and Hurst. I loved Hurst and really do learn the content. When I do practice test I do good but I don't feel like any of my study test have been like nclex. I use nclex 4000 and get 60-70%. I am wondering if saunders or NCSBN reviews are good. I would like something with content and questions. Does anyone know how much either are and if they are good?

NCSBN is nice cause it goes over content then gives you a quiz at the end. Saunders I thought had more challenging questions.
