NCC Spring 2021 NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Hi Everyone, I am a Liberal Arts student at NCC right now and interested in "Change of Program" to Nursing for Spring 2021. I have almost all the Pre-reqs done with 3.7 GPA. Only thing I worry about at this moment is the TEAS Exam. I did not take the TEAS yet and due to the COVID-19, there's no any test date available in my area. Do you guys know if they would consider my application without the TEAS? Please let me know if you know anything about this situation. Thank you

I'm sure up to next week ? bc they are closed Thanksgiving and the Friday. Hopefully tomorrow

I know exactly how you all feel as I was in your shoes a few weeks ago when I got my rejection from another school. I wish the best for you all. Never give up!

Congratulations to all those who got accepted. I got into the evening class. I’m still in shock myself. I don’t live in Nassau so there is still hope for those who mentioned about the 10pts for living in Nassau.  Don’t give up hope and don’t give up on your dream !! Apply again for fall 2021 and beast of luck to ALL !

Did you guys apply through admissions or nursing department directly? I know in the past acceptance letters through the nursing department went out first so don’t lose hope!! I am crossing my fingers for you all! I know the feeling.

I feel the same way. We all accomplished a lot to get to this point, and we just have to stay positive. Tomorrow is a new day??

I completely agree, especially when the commute is 30 minutes. I’m still hoping to get in though. I got accepted into another school but they don’t have a daycare and my daughter currently attends NCC’s which is a fantastic daycare. Im so sad right now.

Yeah I applied through admissions. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Yes so all those who applied through admissions will probably hear after!! So stay positive... you got this. Also, maybe the nursing department isn’t fully done sending out to everyone. Don’t forget — you’ll have people who deny their seat too so you still have so many options of getting in!
