Navy NCP FY2016 Applicants

Hi!

I noticed there wasn't one for the FY of 2016, and I start my package on Monday to be sent to the boards August 1st. (My recruiter told me the earlier the better). So same thing as the last thread, this will be an area to calm nerves and answer questions. Good luck to all who apply, or are thinking of applying!

Nursing students r different from a direct accession as i am working on. I believe the board meets on nov 11th and we should know by december beginning

I dont think your gonna know anything until early part of december. Luck on our side we might know something later part of november

Still waiting to hear back. I heard that recruiters should have board results today, though. But who knows...

I haven't gotten an answer back yet either. Maybe we'll have more luck on Monday :) Is there a way to see the status of the package online?

Not that I know of.. I realllly hope it's Monday! I just want to know which direction my life is heading lol

It is my understanding that the selection board has yet to meet. Like the rest of you, im waiting for an answer so that i to know the direction life takes me. The waiting is certaintly painful. All of us should have an answer in december.

I think if you already are a nurse your board meeting is later. A few of us on here are applying for the ncp which is a scholarship and commisioning upon graduation. 2 separate boards but the same outcome in the end. :) Good luck to you and hopefully we all know soon!
