Decided to start a new thread for those who are applying to the LVN program at Navarro college for fall 2015. I'm super nervous!
I am still working on mine, but only because I went to the very last orientation that was scheduled at the last minute. I didn't have to turn in my pre app until 3/13 and now I only have til 4/1 to get the rest done. I am just waiting for CPR class on Monday and Ill be done. It made me nervous that they have to mail the criminal history check, was yours the same? I know last time I had mine emailed to someone and not mailed, but they said they couldn't do it for Navarro.
Curious what was your Teas scores? What was program percentile rank and all that? I am always confused about the points. Barbara told me that you add up each score for each section minues the science to get points. Is this what you did?
I am trying to figure my points, its so hard to know what will get me extra points. I had military medical training, I have a bachelors, I am in the medical field now and I have 1/2 of a BSN program done, but it was 8 years ago.
My TEAS V scores were
Reading 81.1
Math 90
Language Arts 79.4
It said that I was in the 7th percentile for my program, so I am thinking I have a good chance. How long did it take for your criminal history to get to them?
Krissy93, I did get my stuff in, took it the day before the deadline! I hate waiting. I have tried so hard to find out all the info I can about people that were accepted before and all I see is ADN information. I wanted to see if anyone could tell us if they got in what their TEAS V scores were and their points, and if they know what the minimum points in their class was.
