Hi Everyone :)
Just wanted to start a thread for everyone that's applied to the Navarro College ADN-RN program starting Fall 2012.
Figured we needed a place to post, ask each other questions etc. while waiting on our acceptance letters..... I was told they won't be sent out until the end of May. Has anyone else heard otherwise?
Tim- I have found ALL of the books off of the "list" on amazon. Priced at under 200 total, rather than the 620+ as noted on the "list" I will be getting all my books from amazon YAY!! Some of the ones I priced were used "in excellent condition" but I would rather save 400 than have a brand new book.
It's so much harder paying attention and staying focused on a book that turns pages by a click -_- haha physical is in a way a "permanent" copy, one that you can go to no matter what...silly ebooks. hahaha The only thing good about ebooks is that they're supposedly cheaper (yet there's a lawsuit against companies selling them for price fixing).
THAT'S AWESOME!!!! :) :) :) :) Any way to save money is great, and the books will stay in excellent condition because they mean a lot to us as nursing students (we have to be nice to them). Sometimes I often wonder how there are relatively new books that are in shambles...like what was the person before me doing, throwing it at their ceiling fan?
I think any way to buy the cheapest books and get them quickly would be options I'd consider. :) So long as they are the right edition, of course.
I've all my shots accounted for (I love being immune, haha). Now just finish the pre-reqs (and the rest of the non-nursing courses), CPR, and TB test.

BAHAHA I am too!!!!!!!
I've over 200 books and counting, with no room for the ones I have!!!!!!! xD Books are becoming a bit more sacred, now that these new ebooks and all this technology is coming out. :) I prefer books cuz they won't crash and lose all their information.
