Published

Anyone else wrapping up their applications for this? All I have left is HESI and BIO 205 Final on Friday (Rio). Bio's got me praying, a A and I'll have a GPA of 3.75, B and I have a 3.65. I know they said they get an avg of 120+ applicants but does anyone know if thats just for NAU main or for Flag, Tucson, and Yuma?

Thanks everyone for the info, I really appreciate the help!! I'm on it!! :clown:

Good to hear you guys got your letters. I haven't received anything yet. Maybe they're sending out for the Tucson people later... who knows.

I got my Tucson acceptance letter on Wednesday 4/21. I am so excited! Hope you all get yours soon & congrats to those who are already in!

okay, I can join the party now! They got my house number wrong-- that's why the delay in getting that magical letter.

Yes I'm in yuma now and I would love to meet up w/you if you are here. Let me know....I'm trying to get all my stuff done so I can register for classes.

You coming to Flag? Be nice to have another vet in the class.

Hey do you guys know how many people they accept off the alternate list? On average at least...

Nah, I'm at the Tucson campus. Get nosebleeds at 7000'.... just kidding. See you on graduation day though!

That's great!!!!!! I will see you this fall!

Anyone starting this fall know their policy on laptops? I had planned on getting a new one as we need a new computer in the house anyways, and was planning on a macbook. I haven't read anywhere that they're required, so I wouldn't think it would matter what kind I get, but just curious if anyone else has looked into this.

Also who all is going to be in flag this fall?

Sorry to butt into y'alls conversation and be off topic but I am moving to Yuma, AZ later this year and I've been taking my pre-req's for nursing. I was looking over the requirements to get into the nursing program and then I was looking at what all of the courses that you do in the program are and I just want to make sure I understand it correctly. Is the nursing program 4 years by itself? Most colleges you do your pre req's for the first 2 years and then do your Nursing courses (upper division) for 2 years and you've got your BSN. If so this school is going to take me close to 6 years! Also does anyone know if you can speed the process up by doing more classes then they have in the specified plan or do you have to stick to their plan exactly?

THANKS!!

The traditional program is 5 semesters after acceptance into upper level. How long the pre-req's take is more up to you unless you're at NAU as a pre-nursing student. Best bet would be to start a new thread, and contact a nau nursing advisor.
