  1. Yes I am at the Phoenix location. The Nursing 224 does start at the end of Oct. I guess I am just overly excited for the Nursing to begin, I meant Nursing 222. It feels like it has taken me FOREVER to get to even this point...I am ready!!
  2. Hi Sara1234...I hope it is great, as I am attending. I will be starting my first official nursing class in 4 weeks. From what I understand the first graduating class had a 100% pass rate on boards and hospitals love the attitude of the students. I am thrilled to be in the program. Keep us posted on anything you find out. Good luck.
  3. Thanks for the reply! I am taking Econ right away so it will be over with quickly...not looking forward to that one. I am just so excited to get into my nursing classes . Again congrats to you...happy nursing!! Take Care.
  4. :yeah:Congratulations!!!!! I am transferring to Chamberlain from a CC in July, can't wait!! I will be in the BSN on site program in Phoenix. In 2 yrs I too will be done (hopefully )...YIPPEE! It's a little intimidating by the level of difficulty of what lies ahead but I know Chamberlain is a great choice (great people...great program). Did you love it??
  5. What a silly question to post. I will be done with my BSN when I turn 40. :grad:
  6. Just some info you might find helpful re: GPA. Chamberlain takes ALL classes you have had in college to average your GPA. Unlike other schools (ASU,NAU,GCU) who only look at your prereqs to average your GPA, Chamberlain will take everything you have ever done!! Wish I had known that!!
  7. Thanks so much for your response. I am sorry about your misfortune with GCU. All the more reassurance that Chamberlain cares more about their students. I appreciate the feedback and I will hopefully see you at Chamberlain in July. In response to to fmac88...my gpa was around 3.3 and my HESI was 92%. I am not sure where I was compared to everyone else. Good luck and just do some preparing before you take the HESI, it was much easier than the NET in my opinion.
  8. Hi all...I am new to this post. I was just wondering if anyone could help give me some much needed advise. After all is said and done I have been accepted to the BSN July start program at Chamberlain I was also accepted to NAU fall start and am waiting to hear back from Grand Canyon (who has already rejected me for the May fast track, I had really thought I had what it took to be accepted). I am an adult and time is of the essence. NAU would have been great if I had not been accepted anywhere else, I also live in Phoenix. Their program unfortunately lasts around 1/2 year longer that the other two. I figure I will be working with my BSN making up the money that I invent in one of the other two programs without having to re-locate. I just don't want to make anymore mistakes regarding my education. Chamberlain has acted warm and welcoming towards me, I had expected GCU to do this as well....they have been nonexistent. Does GCU have a better reputation or will I be fine with Chamberlain?? I really feel that the person makes the most of their education. That being said for the price of this education I would really love some feedback on the schools. Thank you for anyone who reads this and responds...it is such a BIG decision that I hate to not weigh all sides of the coin.
  9. Thanks everyone for the info, I really appreciate the help!! I'm on it!!
  10. Good suggestions, thanks Azhic13. I am so...happy to finally get into a program!! See you in Flagstaff. Oh quick question...do we need to actually show the proof of our health insurance by June 25th? jeez...I've got a lot to do:eek:
  11. Hi all I am new to this thread...I just found out I was accepted into the NAU Flagstaff program, WHOO HOO:D Just curious if anyone has information on where we can get CPR certified?? I am in Phoenix and checked out the Red Cross and it says it is not certified for nursing programs...odd. Also I am attempting to find out how I can get my vaccinations...quickly, and not have it cost me a fortune. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
