NAU accelerated BSN 2018

Hi everybody! I just turned in my application for the summer 2018 ABSN program and thought I would start this page to see who else is applying. I took the Kaplan a couple days ago and got an 86 overall but a 65 on the science so now I'm a little worried!

Seriously, this is agonizing! Next Monday will be 6 weeks so I'm betting we'll hear this week. Fingers crossed for all of you.

Just got my acceptance email today! So relieved... that waiting was intense! I've lived in Flagstaff for over 12 years, and got my first Bachelors at NAU. Super excited to finally get this going and meet everyone!

I didn't make it :( I guess that 65 on the science section really got me! I'm gonna retake the Kaplan and try again next year.

Congratulations to all that got in! For those who didn't get in don't give up, this is just one little hurdle in your journey to become a nurse. Would any of you mind sharing your stats?

@nursestu1986 So true! And I'm assuming you got in as well?! My stats -- 95 on Kaplan, 80 in science, 4.0 in pre-reqs, 1 class in progress. Would you mind sharing yours as well? :)

@BrenMau Same :( I applied to ASU's TPCNP as well so hopefully I get in there. I am also seeing if there are any other options. If not, I may try again and possibly see you next year! Congratulations to everyone that got in! I may be a smidge jealous but I am legitimately so excited for all of you!

@nursestu1986 I had a 3.75 GPA with a 87 on the Kaplan, 65 on the science section
