Hi all -
I didn't see a thread for this program for the upcoming summer 2016 start date, so I thought I would start one. Please let me know if there is already a thread on this and I will have this deleted.
Who else is applying? I know last year was very competitive, so I doubt this year will be any different. I just took the Kaplan Admissions Exam and have finished all my prerequisite coursework, so I'm hoping for the best. Good luck to everyone!
Hey guys, a student from two years ago suggested looking in Kachina Village and Mountainairre areas for cheaper housing. They are about a 10-15 minute drive on the freeway, just south of campus. From what I've seen, it doesn't look like they have much in the way of apartment complexes. But there are a lot of little homes for rent. Mostly mobile/manufactured. I've only just driven through the neighborhoods. They are really pretty...right at the edge of the woods/mountains. I think they are "areas" of Flagstaff more so than they are actual towns. But I know at least Kachina Village's cost of living is cheaper than most of Flag because it has its own water system, sewer system, etc. I am debating housing too. Flag is about 3 hours from where my husband and I live, so I'm gonna have to live away from him for the year. A studio makes the most sense since he'll be coming on the weekends as often as he can. But the price I'd have to pay to live alone is killing me! I'd be open to sharing too with the right place/person/people. I think I might drive down this week and check some stuff out, so I'll keep you posted..

Thank you for your understanding.
The fb group didn't come up easily for me either. You have to search "NAU Accelerated BSN program 2016" exactly, and make sure to look under the "group" tab-it doesn't just pop up when you type it into search. Hope to see you there!

Hi everyone! I found out that I was accepted and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on where to live-preferably a single studio or similar, although a shared area is not completely ruled out due to the cost..commuting is also ok. I am planning a visit soon, but for the time being I have never even been to Flagstaff so I would appreciate any tips!! Congrats to all those who have been accepted, and to those who are on the wait list (best of luck!). Thanks for your help!!
