National University SD Cohort 52

Hello everyone! I wanted to start a thread for National University students who are applying for the SD cohort 52 that begins in October 2017. I'm very excited about the future and wanted to share this experience with others that have applied as well. Please feel free to post questions, concerns, and accomplishments.

Has anyone received an e-mail for the TEAS 6 test date?

I think you'll be fine because your GPA is pretty high! does anyone know about how many applied to this cohort?

I asked her today and she told me 153 applied, but they have had quite a few no shows for the TEAS so those that didn't show count as a decline. So the number has gone down, but she won't know for sure the actual number until after tomorrow.

i hope it goes down so theres less competition lol. I'm taking my TEAS and essay tomorrow but do you know if i'm allowed to use my previous TEAS score if i don't like the score i receive tomorrow?

Yes you are available to use previous scores if you dont like the score you recieve. Be sure to take your ATI transcript they dont have a printer there. Good luck!

For those wondering about thier calculated nursing GPA, just ask your advisor they will gladly break it down for you. My advisor sent me an excel spread sheet telling me.

I got an 82 on the TEAS

and i have a GPA of 3.28

I hope its good enough!!

Hello all. Is anyone else getting nervous about finding out the results. I know its weeks away, but I can't help it. What was the number (the addition of the gpa, teas, and essay score) they had said you need to hope to be considered? I can't remember.

I am sooo nervous!! í ½í¸© I think the cut off last cohort was a total of 81 total points??? Not sure though, I just read that from another forum... I have a GPA 3.7 but I only got a 79.3 on the teas. Fingers crossed í ¾í´ž. I hope it's high enough!
