Hi Maria,

How did you do on your TEAS and your essay? I practiced a whole different prompt for the essay portion but I felt like I did well.

Figure its your science GPA x 10 so a 4.0*10=40 then your test score times 4 then devided by 10 so a 90=36 then the essay 5=20 so say GPA=3.0 test = 90 essay is 5 then your points are 30+36+20=86 total something like that

I didn't do too well on my TEAS 74 but praying I get in all I can do at this point is redo micro and phys to get a better GPA in my sciences since they are over ten years old ugh I just want in already

Hi Adri, I have applied to the Fresno campus for Fall 2015, and will be taking the TEAS and Essay exam on May 13th. What is the essay like? Is it an admissions type question like 'Why nursing?' Any info helps. Thank you :)

Hi,

For the TEAS exam, I would recommend bringing earplugs. There were students outside who were noisy. For the essay, it is, you may get questions like, "what qualities do you have that would make you a good nurse? or why is nursing both a science and an art?". It's a simple five paragraph essay. Don't overthink it. Just remember to use smooth transitions and stay on prompt.
