Anyone else out there going to apply to cohort 40?
I'm also very frustrated with ALL of the changes that are happening and nobody seems to have a clue!
Hi jschaffer84, I took the TEAS at SDSU. I have not taken chemistry yet, my class starts next month. I got a 78% on the TEAS. I did well in everything except science, and I think that was because of the chemistry. I have been studying and plan to retake it this week before my date on the 27th. My adviser said that an 84% is competitive. Good Luck everyone!
Hello everyone. I applied to cohort 40 as well, I seriously doubt I will get in. I only scored a 78.7 on the Teas(twice). Everyone I know applying has been 82 and above. The only thing I have going is all A's in my sciences. We will see. Good luck to you all. I am studying to retake it so I can apply to SDSU as well.
Thats what I heard as well. I'm definitely not going to count on it though. I'm going to work towards being eligible for as many local programs as possible. SDSU requires an 80 to transfer in and Point Loma doesn't require a TEAS at all. Hopefully I get National though, because thats where I really want to go. I already have all of the extra prereqs except an upper level english so it would be an easy transition. A friend said she is taking it today and I haven't heard anyone say they have a later test date so maybe today is the last for this cohort.
Does anyone know when they normally release the acceptance list? A friend currently enrolled said she didn't get hers until mid-Aug last year.
I would be putting in for the fall of next year for these schools, so around January application. Hopefully the rest of the application process at National goes smoothly. I just hate that they weren't really open to answering questions about what was going on when they pushed out the application period. I know they must be slammed with all the changes, but a general notice would have stopped many of the questions.

I also noticed some of the topics on the TEAS are not required courses for National so if you haven't taken chem, bio, or college algebra or higher the test is going to be a lot harder.
