National University SD cohort 40?

Anyone else out there going to apply to cohort 40?

I'm also very frustrated with ALL of the changes that are happening and nobody seems to have a clue! :arghh:

Can you believe that we still haven't heard about admission??!! We were supposed to hear at the end of October and still no answers! This means we are going to have very little time to complete our checklists if we are accepted. I was anxious enough before when I thought we'd hear back in October, but now my stress levels are really peaking. How long did it take you to get everything done before orientation?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay response, I don't come on here as often as I use to.

Wow, that is CRAZY, that you guys haven't found out yet! I'm sorry your experience with NU isn't going so well. I do believe them about the BRN visit because we were informed about it, but they could have gave you a heads up.

Most of the stuff you have to get done is pretty quick as long as you have the money. But if you need vaccinations, that could take some time depending on which ones you need. If I were you I would just go ahead a make an appointment for a physical now. I would think that they would give you guys extra time to complete the stuff.

Also as a heads up, the financial aid department is behind as well. I've been taking classes since Sept and still have not heard anything from FA. So be prepared for that.

Other than that, things are going pretty good. I really like my professors and time is flying. We just started our 3rd class yesterday, pathopharm.

Anyways sorry for the essay, lol. Good luck and I hope you hear something soon!

Hey everyone! I just joined today, after trolling the feeds on this site for the past year or so. Anywho, I am applying for cohort 42. I finished the TEAS and essay portion yesterday. Does anyone know of when we are expected to get the acceptance or "we're sorry" letters? Any info will be greatly helpful in this blind process. Thanks!

Hey Babeinboot, thanks for responding!

Yeah, it's been really frustrating. I totally understand the whole BRN thing, I really just wish they took the time to send us a short email to just keep us in the loop instead of just nothing and leaving us hanging.

Apparently they have now said that we should hear on or by Dec. 5th.... a whole 20 days before the start date! Anyway at least we now know what's going on and that we will will hear fairly soon.

Thanks for the heads up about FA. It's also good to know that things are going good for you in the program and that you're liking it, it makes me feel more optimistic about the program since now I have a bit of a bitter taste from all this postponing stuff.

I think I'll go ahead and take your advice and just start some of the medical stuff, like my physical.

Fingers crossed I get in after all of this!!

Has anyone heard anything back from those that applied for the April (43... I think) Cohort. It is nearing!! I going to create a page just for those of us waiting Ill be back with the link.

Hey there deneeleigh. I have a question as to how you were notified. Did they email you, or mail you your acceptance letter? Any info will be greatly appreciated. TY

Hello,

I am very new to this site and was wondering if by any chance anyone applied to cohort 44 (San Diego)? If so, does anyone know when we will find out if we got in or not? I just took my essay test this week, how can we find out our score? If I don't get in this cohort does anyone know if I would have time to apply for the next cohort? Sorry, so many questions.
