kris1022,
I applied for the ABSN. I'm wonder how many people are in the applicant pool for this cohort...

50 people get accpeted for cohort 39 (both BSN and the Accelerated BSN) There is not two sepearte cohorts for BSN and ABSN.

Hi Jennaready,
In a few weeks??? that is crazy fast compared to other cohorts! I hope this is really the case. Did the person you talked to tell you anything else, like how many people applied this go around???
This whole waiting game is very nerve racking! Best of luck to us all
I am doing ABSN as well but we are all lumped in the same cohort... There isn't a difference between BSN and ABSN thus far. I heard they are taking the highest scores in general, and not even looking at whether you are BSN applicant or a ABSN applicant.
dukesmama,
That makes sense. Good to know- thanks!
They said about 140 people applied this time around.
Good to know about the amount of applicants... I feel like that is a lot lower than usual (which is good for us!). I thought it was usually around 200+ applicants
I know, it is about 20 less than last cohort. I am seriosuly keeping my fingers crossed! For all of us :)

Does anyone know about the school schedule? How many days a week you attend
classes on campus vs online?, how many practices at the hospital a week? Month? Etc.
just to have an idea
Hi Blansh73,
I attended the nursing forum in RB a few months back and we were told that there would be 1 day of lecture and 2 days of clinicals per week. I'm not sure how much of the lecture or class time is online versus on campus.
Thanks pugaholic,
2 days a week of clinicals will make it difficult if I want to continue working.
I know they strongly recommend not to, but I will have to figure something out to
cover this dates

My friend whose is cohort 36 told me the first 3 months are not too bad. She said some people are able to work part time. I'm sure you'll figure it out :)
