This is my first post on this forum so I'm not too familiar with how all this works but hopefully I'll be able to figure it out along the way.
Anyways,
I applied to the July application time for COHORT 45 in SD Nursing Program.
I wanted to know if anyone else has applied to this month.
If you don't mind, could you also share what your GPA and TEAS score as well?
I'm super, duper nervous.
My GPA is just mediocre at 3.55. I feel like this is probably a lot lower than the average that will be applying in July.
I also have yet to take the TEAS yet but I feel like I'm just not prepared.
Any suggestions on how to study for the TEAS besides the ATI V.5 study manual for TEAS? I feel like this in itself is not enough to prepare me for the test.
If you are already part of the nursing program or know the information, could you also tell me about when the assigned test date would be after the application deadline date?
Also, any suggestions and or tips on writing the essay?

I believe the TEAS score has to be dated after the application date. It seems to be designed to have us skip an application period, since they wait so long to inform us.
Wait.... I don't understand... or maybe I do but I don't want to believe it... we can't keep our teas score? What if we like our score? It's not fair that we would have to take it again.....
I remember hearing something to that effect during the nursing forum; The TEAS score that we submit, has to be for the application period. I may be wrong, but I heard something like that.
Interestingly enough, the gal who headed-up my TEAS exam at NU asked me that very same day which TEAS results I wanted to submit for this application period (as I have taken the TEAS twice in order to improve upon my score-- My 1st TEAS attempt was a couple years ago)... so hopefully they will continue to allow students to select which score they want to use. If not, then I may be outta luck-- I too probably forgot everything. Oy!!!
Omg... so the results come out today right?? Im fteaking out......... every time I get a notification from my email, my heart starts beating like crazyyyy. But no email yet...
I too have been incessantly checking my portal. Still says, "submitted." I was just bummed to hear it could be up to a couple more weeks. I sure hope it won't be that long. The nursing advisor did say that notifications would come via personal email and not in the student portal. I am still checking, however, because I imagine that even if we don't receive a message in the portal... I would guess that the word, "submitted" on the ledger would probably change to something else perhaps. Hmmmm.......

But can we apply again even if the deadline is the 15th?
I heard from many many people that they don't allow you to...
And we can only apply to the cohort after, which is in April...
