National University San Diego

Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. :banghead: Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Thank you guys! that would be awesome if we all got in the same cohort :]. I don't know for sure what the dealine is but I know for sure it is in the august 20's lol.

Hey! I just got confirmation from my adviser that the April 2010 cohort deadline is August 21st! Good luck everyone! I plan on bringing mine in this week!

Hey everyone! I had a question! Do we need to include another official transcript with the application? Thanks!

My admissions adviser said I didn't need to include another set of official transcripts with the nursing application since I already submitted them to the university when I enrolled as a student. I suppose if you don't think your transcripts will be on file soon enough, you should just send them in with your nursing application.

I just turned in my application yesterday for the August 21 deadline! Now I just gotta wait...

Hi CrescentGirl! Thanks for your answer! That makes me feel much better! My transcripts are on file, but I ordered another set because I was filling out the application and saw that the application needed to accompany it in small print. Phew! Now I don't need to worry! Hopefully my adviser gets back to me soon. I am having problems receiving her emails...:uhoh3:

what is the clep? Does anyone know if national accepts online pre-reqs for science? I am way far behind from you guys, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bindhu

I personally do not know what the "clep" is...I am sorry! But I am sure someone on here does, otherwise you can look it up. As far as if national accepts online prereqs, I think you should call them and ask to make sure. Don't worry about "being too far behind" and I am sure you are closer than you think! We were all there at one point! Don't give up and I am sure you will do great!

Binavarg, The CLEP is a certain test that you can take for a large amount of classes such as Sociology,Psychology etc. More so the genereal education classes. Passing the test is equivalent to passing the course. The test itself costs areound 79 dollars I believe IF you are a National University student.

Twilight, congrats on your application. From what I heard in the pre-nursing forum we find out in the beginning of October, but I am sure it may take a little more time that that.
