Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. :banghead: Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Hey everyone!! I just received an email today telling me that I passed my credit by exam for ILR 260! :hpygrp: I am so glad it came before the deadline to apply to the Nursing Program! I am going to be applying in the next few days...I just emailed my adviser! Do they give you your date to take the proctored essay and TEAS after the deadline no matter when you apply or do they give you a date after like a couple weeks no matter when you apply? Thanks!

Yeah of course! I took it on July 11th and received a reply today so a little under 4 weeks! But, they told me it would take 4-8 weeks to get a response so I am very glad that I got an answer before the deadline!!! :D

congrats twilght! i will be applying in the nxt few days too. probably nxt week. i just need to get my transcript at grossmont. also, i have been studying for the TEAS exam the past couple of days. the pressure's SO ON!

Did you ever find out if they allow you to take the proctored essay after the application deadline even if you sent your application before the deadline?

I am 99.9% sure that they will allow people to take the TEAS and essay after the deadline even though they applied before. As long as your application is on or before the deadline you will be fine. My question is how long do you have from the time the application is submitted to the date they give you to take the TEAS and essay.

Thanks that exactly what I needed to know. I think i can give you a rough estimate of how long you will have from the submission of the application to the essay/teas. I sent my application a week and a half ago(Prior to finding out that my sociology class would not count) and I just got an email today stating they recieved my application and the review process would take 3-4 weeks to make sure that your application is complete then you can schedule for the teas. So I would estimate 4 and a half-5 weeks plus how ever far your teas/essay exam is scheduled. Hope that helps.

I found out about the clep test and passed the sociology clep so now I can apply for the august 22 deadline.:D Im excited :]. No more 3 month wait!!!

YAY MURSE!!! :yeah: Congrats!! :cheers: I am so excited for you! I think it would be great if we ended up in the same cohort!! By the way, are you sure the deadline is the 22nd? For some reason I thought it was the 26th...oh well I will double check! :D

And I thought the deadline was the 21st! lol. I submitted my app yesterday. I just hope my psyc 270 counts as their stat prereq. Anyways, congrats Murse!
