National University San Diego

Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. :banghead: Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Thanks

oops, that was supposed to say *so* anxious! :smackingf

I didn't want to ask b/c of that whole 'be flexible' lecture we got at orientation, but wow now I wish I had!

Well since Danielle moved out of our group to M/W clinical days:( I guess that means it's you and I left in ours, Samantha...haha!:D

haha dont worry girls. we can always meet after lecture...at the elephant bar! haha :D did i tell you that is where i had my wedding rehearsal lunch?

ive been working on my schedule for after nursing starts (trying to fit in school, work, homework, family, working out...etc....etc..wow we are going to be busy!) and unfortunately/fortunately (dont know which one yet!) my hubbys work schedule is changing THAT WEEK. he currently works all weekend which sounds like that sucks but he is home all week to get nikki to school and do household things (mr. mom :D) and i kinda like that. BUT if he gets his weekends off then that gives me a babysitter so i can STUDY and also allows us more time together! i guess we will see.....

Its really up in the air, just remember, EVERY month will bring a new schedule with new changes, whats important is that we are here - in the program - and the rest should fall into place...somehow! Whats worth having if you don't have to push yourself and challenge yourself to get it? I think this is good practice for when we are actually nurses! :yellclap:

so did either of you guys pick up applications yesterday?

No, I had prior commitments, but will be going in sometime on Monday. I really hope they are hiring because I really need to start working. Wish me luck

Hello everyone! Hows it going?! Although I haven't posted in forever, I have been reading this thread still, and it is very insightful! Thank you all for the advice, ideas, and baby stories. So, besides reading the first four chapters, getting white shoes (with no holes), take the ATI assessment and there is one more thing....:thnkg:how do we download the:nurse: nursing softwares to our ipod touch? Are they free? Which one is it that we have to go login to an NU computer to work??? Please help:plsebeg:. Thanks again everyone!! :yeah::yeah::yeah::bow: :redbeathe:redbeathe:redpinkhe:redpinkhe:heartbeat:heartbeat

Gosh...I forgot about the ATI TEST!!!!!!! About the Unbound Medicine software, I went to National and went to the sight, and couldn't figure it out! I even tried logging on through the National University internet and couldn't it password locks, and the girls in the office were less than helpful. They kept giving me a Password that wasn't working, I would tell them and they said, well we don't know what to tell you! Oh well when we start I am sure others won't know either and they will explain. The good thing is I am sure if you have a question you are almost garuanteed that someone else will have the same doubts and questions too...

one week from today ladies...everyone getting ready???

i feel like i have NO IDEA what to expect, but this thread has definitely help me feel a little bit more at ease.

ATI testing? i forgot to. is it just the one to figure out our learning styles? i know my learning style, is this mandatory?

thanks everyone!

I don't know, but I am guessing they really just want us to do it to get more familiarized with the whole ATI system, since they want us working on this for he N-Clex...Dunno..

so do we do it online on their website?
