Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. :banghead: Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Hey Ashley! Yes, I can come meet you all this Friday (April 3) at 2pm at Mira Mesa. Thanks for the invite :wink2: It will be nice if one of us held up a sign at Starbucks, so we'll know..LOL :[anb]: :lol: I am two exits up north. I can join you all for a couple of hours, then i'll have to work before 5pm. It sucks now I have to drive all the way to Aero from PQ!! I feel you all, those who have to drive to Kearny Mesa for our theory class. Hopefully, it won't take too long, but it will all be worth it :yeah:I called the office at NU to ask how long this construction will be going on and they said they're contracted 'til May but not sure if thats all Nursing dept.

So, I guess all I have to do is finish up reading and take the ATI test.

I will figure out the unbound medicine download on my touch. Is it free to download from school to our touch??

Yay Pauline I'm excited you are coming! I downloaded the program onto my iPod Touch about a month ago and it's all free...(for us students). The program is AMAZING and I love it. :D I am REALLY bad with technology for the most part though and the only reason I was able to figure out how to put it on my iTouch was because my friend Inna was there doing it with me. I believe there is a paper they gave us at orientation that walks you through it. I'll have Inna help you if you'd like...she's really good with technological stuff! :D

Oh man, you ride a motorcycle?! That's pretty wild... ;) My hubby wanted to buy one some time ago - I said NO! :nono: I worry too much... i guess.... :)

haha, no you don't worry too much, I won't let mine get one either!!! I know hypocritical right, but I do worry too much, boys are silly and don't think, besides he already thinks he is invincible and likes to drive like speed racer, thats ab BAD mixture on a motorcycle!:no: I know, I don't seem like the motorcycle type, but I have ALWAYS been into them so finally in my 21st b-day I got one, it's my dad and my way of bonding, we go riding together.

Sam that is really bad ass! :) It's funny cause about a year ago my boyfriend wanted to get a motorcycle too and his dad and I convinced him not to. :D must be a common guy thing Lol.

Haha, I don't do it to be a bad ass! I just have ALWAYS loved motorcycles, my dad bought me my first one when I was my daughters age (he already bought her hers too!). I am really safe about it, hence the going out of my way to not drive through crazy morning traffic. It's a risk, but that is my happy place and my stress reliever! When I am on my bike, every problem I have can wait, we all are going to need something like that in this program!

Actually my fiance doesn't want a motorcycle anyway! He is too scared, he has seen me fall, and I have told him how risky it would be for him...of course he believed me, besides we know people who have lost legs...and one who has lost his life. I guess he is smarter than I am! :cool:

Actually, Samantha, you kinda do seem like the "motorcycle type" ;) ... I know I hardly know you, but it sounds like you have a pretty spunky personality.... :)

ATI test? Whats that for?

The ATI test that we have to do before starting NSG 211 is just a personality type test.

It was listed on one of the things to remember or do from the orientation; an e-mail from SMascolo the week after the orientation she sent to us. Nothing to worry about :) :up:
