Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.

It was great meeting you ladies yesterday! Thanks for all the helpful notes. I am trying to think of what I can do to contribute as well. I haven't looked at the notes yet, I am finishing up on my reading...really interesting info, but also something I've studied before in Child Dev and culture and psychology. OMG! two more days or less :) So excited.. I think we will all be great nurses!!

Sam, don't worry to much on that ATI test, because even my stress & coping was about the same, and talk about knowledge of health profession as well was kinda low..even if I thought CNA would be helpful. I don't think this ATI personality test thingy or whatever is very accurate.. SMILES :) :) Two more days!

wow TWO DAYS till nursing..i thought this day would never come lol.

any clue when we are getting our uniforms? im guessing just the first day but wanted to double check- i dont remember hearing anything specific.

Yes they said it would be tomorrow, personally I hope not...the less time we have to wear those god awful things the better!! I want to wear NORMAL clothes, again I had a dream that I got told something for my attire choices....I was wearing a Tutu and heels,:tinkbll: and got chided for wearing heels to class....gosh me and my STRANGE nightmares! :smackingf

Ok, so we made it through our first day! Yay! :) But is anyone as overwhelmed as I am?? Anyhow, this is mostly for those of you reading this thread, that are in the the next cohorts: don't wait to do your reading and make notes while reading those chapters! That's all I gotta say for now.... (some of us said we would continue to keep you posted, so there... ) :)

There's everything in the first class: 3 group projects, a couple of scholarly papers, quizes, midterm and final.... I think that would depend on the instructor though. We have Dr. Bonnie Marblestone... This saturday we have to visit a patient in the Skilled Nursing facility to practice taking their health history down, and then will have to write a paper on it.... the sample paper they gave us was 11 pages long with diagrams and everything.... well, gotta go do some reading now... Yakubova? Is that Russian? I am fluent in Russian.... :)
