Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really.
Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.
Thanks
Lol! Prettyinpink! I keep getting the two mixed up! XDExPharmaGirl: They give you a syllabus at orientation that has the books and editions on there. They will also introduce you to NU-Fast. They tell you to pay attention to this instead of SOAR. I went on NU-Fast and she uploaded the syllabus but she changed the book editions to the next one up! BTW, NU text direct does not always have the right books/editions either. I would not depend on that.
Thanks Twilight!
ooo ok thanks =] I just took my TEAS and essay today...I got a 82.4% and I don't know about my essay...I have A's and B's for my pre reqs also...hope I get into October cohort!
Good luck, I hope you get in. Are you applying to the Los Angeles campus? I'm applying in July after i finish my biostat class. I'm really nervous now because i got two B's and a C in science, and my overal gpa is only a 3.6 or something. Gosh, I really don't wanna take those science classes over! What version of the test you took? I started studying the 3.0 version but not sure if it's the version v they give now.

Good luck to you tutubalu! It was the longest wait from the day I took the teas until I found out! Did they tell you how many applicants there were? Also, at the pre-nursing forum did you write down the algorithm for the point system for admission? I didn't, unfortunately. It's very different for every cohort depending on the scores of the individuals who apply, but I know in mine, the lowest score they accepted was 83.77. If you can figure out your points, you can kind of see where you stand.
How exciting!! Keep me updated!! ![]()
Hi everyone!
I posted a thread about National San Diego about a couple of days ago, and found this one... so I decided to just post questions about National on here. (I'd love to read all the posts but there's 117 pages!!! LOL!!)
Well, I'm really interested in the program, and I looked on the website but it's just so vague.
- What is the GPA requirement? I saw the required prerequisites but no GPA requirement.
- And how hard is it to get in?
- Also, what is the tuition like? I saw that it's $200 for theory and $400 for clinical courses... but I'm sure there's more to be added!
- If you're in the program, how do you like it so far? Should I even consider National??
I am applying to the BSN program (generic). Thank you for your help and support!
