Hi guys,
I applied for the BSN program at National University July 2013 cohort 35 and I am in the process of waiting to hear if I got accepted or not. Unfortunately,my TEAS score were not as good.I did my TEAS in March. I am so stressed out and the wait is killing me. I was just wondering? is there anyone else out there who applied for the July intake and is also waiting to hear the outcome?I hope so. And have you heard anything yet? Please write back and let me know how you all are doing.
Thanks guys.
Jesica i got this right now :If you find that your status is “Alternate” - You have been temporarily placed in our alternate pool. If any of the originally admitted applicants either withdraw from the program or fail to attend the mandatory New Student Orientation, the Department of Nursing will fill in any spots that become available with students waiting on the alternate list by order highest overall admission score. The place you hold on the Alternates List will be disclosed to you at Orientation. Please stand by for further instruction that will come from me via email tomorrow.
Hey everyone!
Congratulations on those who have gotten accepted into the BSN program.
I'm considering NU, but I'm not quite sure how competitive my application will be. I took (Anatomy/Physio I/II, Micro) all at a community college and got Cs. I'm re-taking Anatomy and getting an A, but when I went to a pre-nursing forum this past week they said they actually deduct points for repeated science courses. SO IM FREAKING OUT! Plus my GPA overall is at a 2.9. Even if I do extremely well on the TEAS and proctored essay will this even give me a shot to get in? I'm applying for the Generic Entry BSN program. I still have to take Biomed Stats and Information to Literacy too. I've just been so stressed out! I really want to get into Nursing school but I feel like my GPA is holding me back.
Advice would be greatly appreciated!

I believe i read that it was $2450. My SCIENCE GPA is a 3.86 with one B, and I thought they only counted science courses but I may be wrong since in the nursing application they display all the other required classes such as soc/eng/info lit etc......any comments?
