National University San diego July 2013 cohort 35

Published

Hi guys,

I applied for the BSN program at National University July 2013 cohort 35 and I am in the process of waiting to hear if I got accepted or not. Unfortunately,my TEAS score were not as good.I did my TEAS in March. I am so stressed out and the wait is killing me. I was just wondering? is there anyone else out there who applied for the July intake and is also waiting to hear the outcome?I hope so. And have you heard anything yet? Please write back and let me know how you all are doing.

Thanks guys.

So I got the courage to check right now and I got alternate status this sucks :(

My status hasn't changed yet. Im so nervous :(

I got denied, I knew I would once I saw yogamommy's post. Next time. Congrats to all that make it!

I also got the "alternate" status! I don't understand what this means... ):

Jsica, make sure you attend the orientation and they will tell you at the half way point if any one decided not to fill their spot and you'll get in.

Ohhh is that how we find out? Ugh. My stomach hasn't been able to sit still this whole day! Now, I have to wait again? This sucks lol. I can barely breathe! But also, when exactly is the orientation? I never received any information on that? I didn't know there was going to be one.

Aww cquachie try again you have everything going for u since you said your GPa was really high all you need is to study hard for the teas. If we do get invited to go to orientation do we need to pay it beforehand? Because we might not even get a spot.

Jsica I knw our wait is not over, and considering there's ten alternates. Will we knw what number we are in line?

I have no idea yogamommy, I would think if they tell you that you get in even half way, you would have to provide the money like all the others. Just be prepared for it. And definitely email the NP about your alternate position!

Oh okay 10 is a good number then & honestly I'm not sure because I didn't even know that "alternates" existed. I applied for the last cohort & didn't get in & I never heard anything about alternates.

& cquachie, I just saw your previous comment before I started posting & I'm sorry to hear that ): Like yogamommy was saying, if your GPA is good, all you really need to do is study more for the TEAS. & On the upside, at least you don't have to wait any longer to know your status! (:

They say it's $2000 upfront when you get accepted, correct?

No I heard its a bit more but not 3000. I think it's only a few days before the actual classes so probably mid June? I went back and re read the email we received in the morning and she said later on we will get the final results so I'm thinking its when we will knw our points and perhaps even what number we are.
