Hello Pre-Nursing Students! I thought I'd start a new thread since the application deadline for Cohort 66 is only few months away.
I plan on applying for November 2020 deadline. I recently transferred from a community college and will be taking BST 322 and ILR 260 with NU. I will also be taking the TEAS by October. Please feel free to share your stats: GPA, TEAS, work experience, second degree (if any).

Fortunately I was accepted to Utica College ABSN program. I am not willing to give up my spot and wait for National. Congratulations to everyone who moved on to the next round. For those of you who didn't I encourage you to look into Utica. The application process was easy and they have three cohort dates as well. It is also only 16 months. Good luck!
Do you need to have a bachelors degree? or is there a way around that as well like Roseman? where is Utica?
Your stats are very very good!! and you definitely would have gotten in for an interview and most likely accepted. Just wasn't a fair shot for us this time around with the whole back up, and less spot than usual in this cohort. It was just very unfortunate us. I wish we knew about the back up, and their plan on moving students from one cohort to another. I think cohort 67 will be the same, it'll be a while until it gets back to normal again.
I do have my bachelor's degree. I am not sure if you can apply without one. The college is based in New York but they have satellite campuses in Florida which is where I will be going.
That's a bummer about National being backed up I hadn't even considered that because my advisor was so confident that I would get into the program. Definitely got my hopes up that I could stay home but grateful I have other options. I'll be done with Utica's program by the time National gets caught up.

They probably didn't know that it was backed up. Many ppl were moved from cohort 65 to 66, which made less room for new applicant. honestly I feel like it was something they shouldve disclosed. after spending almost 5k that I don't have on their classes, I am now stuck. It is hard for me to up and move out of state also. definite bummer

I received my declination letter too. I have similar stats. 3.6 math/science GPA and an 88.7 TEAS. Just a crazy competitive cohort. I have a bachelors degree as well and I’ve been hoping to get into CSUSM ABSN program. Less competitive since a bachelors is required but def still tough. National is impacted right now and the limited seats and push back don’t help.
Hey all,
I'm kinda late to post, but I too received an invitation for an interview on 3/17! Praying for good fortune that day, anyone have a spare 4-leaf clover (and a cure for my dry sense of humor ?)?
Stats: Math and Science GPA- 4.0; TEAS- 95.3
Congratulations to those that made it through to the next round. I want to also echo the sentiment said previously: please do not feel defeated. This particular cohort was competitive as is with the application extension. Then there was a seat reduction from 53 to 40, starting with Cohort 65. It is more than likely those 13 students got moved into 66, so there are even fewer seats than anticipated. Keep working hard and please don't give up. Cohort 67 will be 40 seats (as of now) and shouldn't be as confusing to navigate.

Who had an interview today? Any thoughts and feelings? Mine will be tomorrow morning...a little bit nervous?
Hi,
I did.....I feel like I did well but one answer I think I could have answered better, they asked 5 questions and at the end they will ask if you have any questions. It was really quick 15-20mins tops.Make sure you have questions to ask them. The two interviewers were pleasantly nice.My friend also had a interview but did not have the same interviewers as me.

Thank you so much for your response! Do you know when we receive letters of acceptance/denial?
