National University San Diego Cohort 66

Published

Hello Pre-Nursing Students! I thought I'd start a new thread since the application deadline for Cohort 66 is only few months away.

I plan on applying for November 2020 deadline. I recently transferred from a community college and will be taking BST 322 and ILR 260 with NU. I will also be taking the TEAS by October. Please feel free to share your stats: GPA, TEAS, work experience, second degree (if any).

I was offered admission as well! I'm deeply humbled by this entire experience. I feel like I'm a broken record at this point, but this was an incredibly competitive cohort. I hope that those that are on the alternate list or denied altogether do not take it as meaning they have no chance moving forward. I'm a big believer that every person has a shot, and it all comes down to timing. Put in the work and trust your abilities and you will succeed. Just because it isn't right "now" doesn't mean "not ever". Virtual hugs to everyone! ?

Congrats!! Wow that must feel amazing. If you don’t mind, could you drop your stats? I’m applying next cohort ?

Thank you! I'm sure you will know the feeling too soon enough ?  I had a 4.0 Math and Science GPA and 95.3 TEAS. Best to you in the next application cycle. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the process! This was my first time applying and this cohort had a few special circumstances out of the norm that I hope NU has worked out for the next couple cohorts ?

Congratulations to those who were accepted! Does anybody know how many LVNs were accepted? I don’t remember if they accept 10 each cohort?

thank you and good luck everyone!!

I’m not sure on the actual number this go around. When there’s 53 students admitted, 5 of them are usually LVNs as LDFutureNurse said. The cohorts will be 40 seats for the foreseeable future so I’m not sure, but I’d guess they have fewer than 5? I’d recommend emailing the Department of Nursing for the actual number

Hello! Congrats!!! Planning to apply to the next cohort. Would you mind sharing some of the questions they asked in the interview? Was it through Zoom or in-person? Thanks for much.

Hi guys!! I was accepted to cohort 67. I’m just wondering, did any of u who were accepted to 66 also get an acceptance letter in the mail or packet of any sort?

Hi Natannette, congratulations!! That's a huge accomplishment and I wish you all the best ? We didn't receive an official acceptance letter or anything fancy. Just the email. You will get an email about a month later giving you directions on how to sign up for Complio and submit all your documents. I hope this helps!

I hope the interview went well for you and you were offered a seat in Cohort 67 ? I'm sorry for the late reply, I wasn't watching this thread as much as when we were waiting for decisions

Yes we had orientation about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It was online via Zoom. Complio is the website that you're going to use to submit your documents so that you are compliant and are able to participate in the program. You will submit things like your immunization records, health insurance, , background check and drug screen etc. You'll receive an email from the administrators that are responsible for that with more detailed instructions
