Anyone else on these threads applying to NU's April 2012 cohort in San Diego? How do you feel about TEAS V? I wish you all luck . I'm not so sure I'll get in :uhoh21:. I scored a 70.6% (slightly higher than National's average across the US and for our specific program), and I'm a fairly decent writer, but I have a C in A/P 1 (class and lab) and B's in A/P 2 (class and lab) and Micro (class and lab). I earned an A- in Biostats and have never reattempted any classes. I'm thinking of retaking the TEAS again and getting the ATI study guide this time around to try to bump my score up to the 80's.

I meant cohort 32, I don't know why I typed 31. If we don't get in, maybe some TEAS study sessions would be helpful.

Study sessions would be nice Navyvet11!!So we are sup to hear something tomorrow right? It would be the end of jan ! I just have feeling it will be later in the week. But according to The email jake posted, we should hear by late Jan. Well I'm rooting for you all!!!! Almost there guys.
I would definitely be down with some study sessions if we don't get in. I'd love to score in the 80's to boost my overall points (plus it;d be nice to have an "Advanced" score versus a "Proficient" one) Do you guys have the TEAS v. 5 study guide? I heard the other previous version study guides are useless since they made v. 5 a lot harder than the previous ones. I checked on the ATI web site and the latest version is close to $100. :uhoh21:
Yes, I have the study guide. And I think I paid about that much for it. I called the school today (I couldn't help it) and they said they are finalizing the decisions and that we should know something in the next few days (which we already figured, lol).

Still nothing....I keep checking my SOAR portal but my status says, "Submitted." I hear that once they're about to change your application status you will either see something that says "Test Completed" or "In Review"...nothing in email either....
Although my points aren't as high as you guys, I am still hopeful. Hopefully we'll hear something tomorrow..or the next day..btw, are you guys in the Rancho Bernardo area?

Good evening !!!! Always be hopeful :) I think we will hear something thurs or Friday. That's my guess !!! When they say a few days they mean a week perhaps !!! Ha ha they did say we would know mid to late Jan. Well there is one more day in Jan! This is the most nerve wracking thing ever by far from as far back as I can remember. I hope it's good news for us all ... And No unfortunately Rb is pretty far from me ... Maybe 25 minutes. Are you in the Rb area Greenlatern25?
OK-so I broke down and called "You-Know-Who" about our application status and she was very sweet and understanding. She explained that ALL results will be posted this Friday by midnight and we will receive emails notifying us that our application status has changed in our student portals. Physical letters will go out the following week.
Wow, thanks Jake. Pasta was right when she guessed Friday lol. Maybe we can actually concentrate on something else until then... I live nowhere near the RB campus. I live close to downtown SD so it's a small drive.
