Hey Y’all!
I had to push back my application date to this cohort! I have yet to take my TEAS test, but my GPA is a 3.3 currently. Glad to “meet you all”
Hi everyone,
I'm also applying to cohort 65 ABSN. My application was pushed back due to COVID as well.
I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on the interview? My GPA and TEAS score should get me an interview. I've come a long way to get to this point, as I am sure most of you feel as well. I was told by the academic advisor that they base the interview on academic preparedness and motivation for attending nursing school. Anyone know anyone who was accepted, or who has been through the interview process?
My field of interest is hospice nursing. ?
Thanks and good luck to you all!
Hi Jessica,
Thank you for starting this thread. I do not see any others as of yet for Cohort 65. I'm interested in the other end of the spectrum of nursing from you, hospice :). Good luck to you!
Hey guys,
I just spoke to a chatbot at this school's website. I can't believe the tuition was like half the price of WCU. Which is crazy. I was hoping some of you guys might give me some insight as to me why you chose this school over some of the other for profits?
My plan was to apply at the community colleges for an ADN or to the Cal States for BSN but I don't want to get stuck in limbo where I'm waiting potentially years to find out if I can get in. I'd rather just pay and get it over with. I'm just really confused about all the different schools. With NUs tuition so low compared to the others I can't really see any reason not go here. What do you think?
Thanks everyone!

I chose NU over west coast because west coast is in LA this is near San Diego. I’m not sure where you are located but that might be a big factor to consider

@charguev from my understanding, upon completion of the TEAS you have ATI send your transcripts to NU. So for each application cycle (you have 3 total before being dismissed from the program entirely) you can submit 3 TEAS scores. So if youre taking it Monday, I would submit that score (if you're happy with the result) but then if you choose to retest once more before 8/21 you can also submit that score too.
